These gloves are of excellent quality. The leather palm is thick while the outer portion is flexible. I got these because I have small hands as a woman and trying desperately to find tough work gloves that fit (and not pink or light duty). These ran a little small for me, but I wish they had women's gloves that were constructed the same.
